Woodland Management

Woodland is an area mainly covered by trees. In the UK this is defined as land with trees where the mature trees cover more than 20% by area.Management of such woodland is dependant on factors such as age(primary, seconadry & recent), size and extent, location and previous management regime (such as coppicing of understorey).
